Richard Scott is especially delighted this year to announce the beautiful grounds at Ballymaloe as the venue for the summer sculpture show. This unique outdoor exhibition will run from July 2nd to August 31st, in full accordance with social distancing provisions. This year will be a special one as Richard says: “We are hugely fortunate to be presenting such a spectacular range of works this year.  After months of uncertainty, I must acknowledge with gratitude the support of our hosts at Ballymaloe and the commitment of all the artists who have been unstinting in their creative and logistical efforts to make this event happen. It has helped to make this event our largest yet. We want to celebrate that throughout July and August with all of those who wish to come and spend a while walking and talking along our sculpture route.”The ‘sculpture walk’ will be accessible to all and visitors will be welcome to join Richard Scott and Hazel Allen any Thursday evening at 6pm or Friday afternoon at 2.30pm throughout the summer on the lawn in front of Ballymaloe House for a summer drink and a free one hour guided tour of the exhibition which this year will showcase 45 unique, rich and diverse works created by 27 Irish sculptors. The works vary from stone, bronze, stainless steel, marble and wood and range from thought-provoking to joyful with each piece being the culmination of pure creativity, skill and artistic endeavour.  For those that wish to purchase any of the works to celebrate or commemorate, then prices and guidance on art selection and installation is all part of the service.
